Java Fundamentals Video - Paul J. Deitel

ava Fundamentals Video I Mov-H264
Mov | H264 | 1024x768 | 10fps 320kbps | acc44100Hz | 900 MB Java is a strong type checking language. There are two concepts regarding types and objects. One is the object type and the other the template/class the object was created from. When an object is created, the template/class is assigned to that object which can not be changed. Types of an object however can be changed by type casting. Types of an object is associated with the object reference that referencing the object and determines what operation can be performed on the object through that object reference. Assigning the value of one object reference to a different type of object reference is called type casting.

With C# 3.0 still so new that many are only just beginning to appreciate, let alone use, its new features it might seem premature to be discussing the next version of the most popular .NET language.
Microsoft, however, has its plans for C# 4.0 well advanced, and the changes are so important that you might not recognise your favourite language after the upgrade. Now is the time to look over the horizon in the hope that end users can influence the outcome.

Using multiple threads can help you achieve greater performance, scalability, and responsiveness in your applications—but you need to be careful. This article begins a series on the tools and techniques involved in threading.
I’ll start with an introduction to the concept and a survey of some of the more common constructs and how to use them.
Any Windows application must have one or more processes. A Process is structural unit with a memory block and using some set of resources. For each executable, the Windows operating system creates some isolated memory block. This C# .Net Tutorial tries to explain the basics of Multithreading in C# .Net.

1 – Introduction:
Kevin covers the fundamentals of threading, taking a walk down Pi and how many digits he can evaluate before his computer blows up. Kevin then talks about Deadlocks and how to avoid them.

2 – Thread Lifetime and State:
In this episode Kevin shows you various ways to manage the lifetime of a thread, including state, join, suspend, resume, abort and pooling basics.
